Suggestion: Before onboarding your first employee, work with your Clarity Security success team to review the applications and entitlements that are automatically granted.
* Requesting a new hire is dependent on being a manager
** Performing user access reviews is dependent on being a manager AND being subscribed to the user access review module.
How to Create a User
1. Log into Clarity Security and select Identities
2. Select Create
3. Fill out all of the requested fields.

Full Name: Enter the employee or contractor’s name

Email: Enter the employee’s desired email address.
Before selecting an email address, verify the address is not currently in use.
For Azure AD Users - Log into portal.azure.com and verify the email.

Division: Select the division the employee works in. → If the employee’s division is not listed, please enter the correct name in the Custom Division field.

Department: Select the department the employee works in. → If the employee’s department is not listed, please enter the correct name in the Custom Department field.

JobTitle: Select the Job Title the employee works in. → If the employee’s Job Title is not listed, please enter the correct name in the Custom Job Title field.

Supervisor: Select the employee’s supervisor. This is crucial for user access reviews, self-service access request, and other features.
4. Double-check your entries and Create.
5. Once redirected click Grant Clarity Login
If SAML is not enabled, the end user will receive an email with a link to Clarity and their username and password.
6. Click Add Additional Entitlements
7. Search for Clarity > Check Cisco Duo User - Clarity - Duo > Check Exception does not expire.
7. Click Add Entitlements to Identity.
8. Evaluate the assigned entitlements to verify completeness and accuracy.
